Henry is a beautiful boy at one year, nine months — his two-year birthday is coming up soon on July 11, 2025. Henry appears to be a Shetland Sheepdog with Labrador and Collie heritage.
When Henry’s rescuers noticed gait changes, rear-limb weakness, and “humped” rear spine, a lengthy evaluation ensued. The diagnosis was Muscular Dystrophy. In addition to lab values with elevated creatine kinase and liver enzymes, the muscle biopsy was definitive.
